Because when you’re checking out my website, you’re also looking at me. I’m appreciative yet humbled at the same time. Now you’re here because we’re friends, possibly family, or you were curious when you stumbled upon my site. Either way, being here gives me a chance to share a few thoughts, hopefully, a few smiles.

For the stumblers, let me say that I’m a glass-half-full guy. I choose to give folks the benefit of the doubt and look for the good in everyone. Now, this doesn’t mean I can’t be a bit snarky. If you happen to be watching TV with me, (shout out to my wife Judy) I’m going to comment when I notice someone whose fashion sense doesn’t seem to jibe with mine. Yeah, snarkiness (according to my spell check, not a word) will take place, typically in the form of an audible sarcastic observation.
So again, thanks for being here.
